| WELL, the tour has been over for a little over a week, now. Our last two days in Dallas were fantastic, and we made it back to Nashville without any problems. Now, we're all scattered around the country until late December. That being said, don't expect too much news until Christmastime.
In case you didn't know, the new www.pivitplex.com is up and running now, so check that site for news (and if you want to sign our guestbook and show some love, so be it) Feel free to drop us a line anytime over the break!
Happy holidays, all, and we'll see you again soon!

| It's hard to believe we've only been on the road since Halloween - We've been so busy that it feels like months! Since my last post, we played twice in Rio Rancho and had a lot of fun. Except for Alex, who got his new cell phone stolen. Not cool. Las Cruces, NM was next. Terrible sound (we played in a gym/reverb tank) but had a great show. We had a bunch of CDs with cracked cases, so we offered them to our poor, college-going audience for $5 a piece. It seemed that we sold more CDs than there were people, so that we exciting! Our album finally came out on the 14th, and we played at Harvest Christian in El Paso, TX. Very cool show! We met a lot of people in El Paso, including a man who looked just like Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite. AMAZING! Our shows in Odessa and Sweetwater, TX both went very well. In Odessa, we played a pretty small room with a pretty small stage. But, that also meant that everyone who came pushed their way right to the edge of the stage. Good times! Sweetwater was next, and we played after a bunch of kids returned from a high school pep rally. We had a blast! The show was a little crazy, and there may or may not have been some impressive jumps and kicks thrown onstage. We had a lot of time to talk to everyone afterwards, and some people from the church brought us to an amazing barbeque place the next day for lunch. Thanks! We spent last night in downtown Dallas. We went to a Tower Records that was closing, and I scored big on a handful of CDs I've been looking for, which were all 40% off! BOO YAH! While we were walking around downtown, we saw the place where JFK was assassinated (There's an X on the road marking the exact spot where he was shot) Then, we saw the new Christopher Guest movie "For Your Consideration," and it was hilarious. NOW, we're in Midlothian, TX, not too far out of Dallas. We're playing a cool club in downtown Dallas called The Door tonight, with a bunch of other bands. We won't have to lug all of our big PA speakers in tonight, so I'm excited enough about that. Hopefully, the energy we'll save from not having to set everything up will come out on stage tonight. After The Door tonight, we play at Midlothian Bible Church tomorrow morning, and then we head home. Woooo!
I'm out. Cheers! phil

| You won't believe how much trouble we've had getting internet lately! This is the first time I've really been able to get anything done online in about 6 days, so I'm just going to hit some highlights from the past week: After Vegas, we played another worship service/concert in Yucaipa, CA. Good crowd! Everyone helped us load our trailer afterwards too, in record time. The same group who helped us load took us out to eat afterwards, where we blew them away with our scooter skills in the parking lot. We figured out late in the evening that we'd had a communication mishap, and hadn't booked a hotel, so some of our new friends let us stay at their house. We woke up to an enormous, delicious breakfast and were able to do laundry! Very cool. Next up, we played the Wednesday night service at Horizon Christian Fellowship in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. Again, some originals, and some worship songs. Interestingly, the whole stage was setup like the inside of a small house, with a bedroom set center stage, a washer and dryer, and so on and so forth. I can't say I've ever setup beside (and tripped over) a washing machine before, and I probably won't get the chance again. We played well, and everyone seemed to like us. Good times. El Centro, CA was our next stop. We made record time setting up our PA and stage, and played a crazy show for the rowdiest crowd I've played for so far. I got hit about 15 times by the beach balls that were getting thrown around in the crowd. It was all fun and games until Joby's Les Paul just fell out of it's strap locks while Scott was talking about how bad things just happen to people, which broke off a tuner. The rest of the show went very well, and we got to meet a whole lot of people afterwards. A group took us across the border into Mexico for some authentic Mexican tacos. Yummmmmmm. After last night's stay in Phoenix, AZ, we're in Rio Rancho, New Mexico right now. Joby managed to fix his tuner with some JB Weld, and we're ready to play a worship service tomorrow morning, and a concert tomorrow night. Should be a good time. Goodnight, all! phil

| It's been a while! We've had some pretty intense days of driving over the past week. After driving to Texas from Omaha on Thursday, we drove to Phoenix on Friday. We had a small crowd in Phoenix on Saturday, but it was fun show nonetheless (We also had friends from the area drive in to see us, which was fantastic) On Sunday, we drove to Riverside, CA to play Day 7 @ Harvest. We had a trailer tire blowout on the way, and hit some intense traffic on the way in, but made it in on time. We only played 3 songs, but we played well. You can watch the webcast of the service here. This morning, we made our way to Las Vegas to play at Valley Bible Fellowship. Rewarding ourselves for making our way out of the greater LA area alive with me behind the wheel, we stopped at Buffalo Bill's in Primm, Nevada, and rode the Desperado rollercoaster. SCARY, and very fun! We played a mixed set of worship songs and songs from our album tonight at VBF, and had a fantastic time. We didn't have much to set up, so we were able to hang out and talk to everyone afterwards, and we made a lot of new friends. Afterwards, we all took our scooters to the Las Vegas strip and blew everyone away with our moves. Only 2 of 5 band members wiped out, so we're doing pretty good. Everyone's trying to sleep, and I'm lighting up the whole room with the laptop screen, so I'm off. Cheers!

| Hello again, everyone! We played the first show of our tour in Council Bluffs, IA on Wednesday night. We had so much stuff to do on Tuesday morning, so we didn't end up getting to my parents' place until 5:00 AM. We started setting up at 9:30, and were ready to go. A whole lot of people crammed into the room where we were playing, with a lot of our friends and family there to see us! Skypiper opened for us, and played a fantastic set (check them out at http://www.myspace.com/skypipermusic) and then we took the stage. What ensued was a loose, very fun show. Late night meal afterwards, lots of goodbyes, crashing until late the next morning, and saying even more goodbyes. After a long drive, we're at a hotel in Dalhart, TX, soon to be leaving for Albuquerque. I'll post some pictures of the Omaha show later, but I've gotta run. Check back soon!
