| | Hello again, everyone!
We played the first show of our tour in Council Bluffs, IA on Wednesday night. We had so much stuff to do on Tuesday morning, so we didn't end up getting to my parents' place until 5:00 AM. We started setting up at 9:30, and were ready to go. A whole lot of people crammed into the room where we were playing, with a lot of our friends and family there to see us!
Skypiper opened for us, and played a fantastic set (check them out at http://www.myspace.com/skypipermusic)
and then we took the stage. What ensued was a loose, very fun show. Late night meal afterwards, lots of goodbyes, crashing until late the next morning, and saying even more goodbyes.
After a long drive, we're at a hotel in Dalhart, TX, soon to be leaving for Albuquerque. I'll post some pictures of the Omaha show later, but I've gotta run. Check back soon!
